Hey guys, I have a story to share with you all!
I want to tell you all just how much I adore each and every one of you and why!

I like to think that my art isn't truly my own but a little bit of everyone's, as in the feelings of everyone who looks at my art, reads my comments and follows me online is in every line I draw out.

It's rare that I give gifts to people, but when I do the gift has even MORE meaning than you could imagine. Even if it is a small trinket, I pour my heart out into it.

That being said, I have recently given a very important person a very important gift. He was so happy to have such a thing and I was just glad he liked it. He brought it home and stored it in a safe place for the time being. It was a sticker I drew, printed and laminated myself and he needed time to think of where to stick it.

Today though he informed me of some sad news: apparently while he was out, his house mate went through his things behind his back, found it, stole it and destroyed it. I can't imagine how he feels but I know very well how I feel. After all, how can a person do such a thing?

If there is one thing I have learned about the arts, is that it teaches us the beauty of the world and life itself. All artists can understand and appreciate such beauty, be they writers, poets, musicians, painters, cartoonists, etc. The arts are beautiful and it takes a beautiful soul to be able to create art or to be able to just sit back and appreciate it. The deepest of people can appreciate art and respect it as a whole. Sure, I might not like ALL the music or literature or art out there, but I can appreciate the time and energy that was put into it. Beautiful people work hard to create beautiful things. If you don't like it you move on until you find something you like.

This brings me back to the current situation. I sit here and think, you have to be a pretty disgusting and petty person to go so far as to sneak around, steal and destroy art that has been gifted to someone else. There is no beauty in a soul that does such a thing, and I am entirely disgusted by such a thing.

That being said, a sad and depressing event such as this will not stop me from creating. In fact I will just make 20 more stickers for him to replace the one, I will make more designs and more gifts and more creations. I will do everything I can to fill in the hurt left behind by a cruel, disgusting and disrespectful person in the ways of creating more and more art.

I will laugh, I will smile, I will make more art.

And then I stood there and realized, ONE shitty person doesn't bother me in the least, because out of the hundreds and thousands of people who have stopped to look at my art, favourite it, read my comics, follow me online, this is the ONE and ONLY person who has really bothered to show their hate towards my art.

I am surrounded by the love and care of so many wonderful people, and it's you wonderful folks that drive me towards new goals, new projects and new dreams. Your love makes me feel loved, and in turn I will love you all back and keep drawing!

Thank you, everyone, for the kindness and support you have all shown me in the almost 10 years it has been since I have begun posting artwork online, my dreams are just continuing to grow and I couldn't have done it without you!
