I shot almost a whole card on "retreat" at my mother's last month. She has these glass bowls filled with red, white and blue marbles and in the daylight they look really pretty. You didn't find YOUR marbles you found MY marbles which I have really misplaced these past few weeks---THANK YOU! Nice job I wish I were youngeer so I could be that creative. Maybe someday when photography is fun and not work. The light play is really nice, but I think if you darken the background it would loose the delicacy and some of the light play. I think it would alter the color of the marbles also and make them look gloomy instead of light and delicate like they do. Nice job!

Got to keep those things in a safe place so you don't lose them again. Marbles are fun, my parents have thousands of them around his house.. Great shot.

I agree with the other comment, they are never quite in focus. Also the background could be darkened to even more enhance the foreground. Love the colours though, very much like candy!

Saw the title, and cracked up as we were just at the store not a half hour ago, and saw some marbles, and said the exact same thing!
I like this one, especially the irridescence of the white ones, and the way they all capture and reflect the light. Wonderful image!!

it's a little blury in the full view, but i generally like it. good color usage, it gives contrast that draws your eye around the shot between colors. and it's unique, not many pics like that on DA that i've seen. so good job there. and i just generally like the concept, and the way you shot it. i like it!
