Try studying a hairless cat, perhaps? I know that hairlessness isn't the same as scarring, but it might help you get a believable texture to it.

Maybe adding those two folds canines have under their neck? Although I don't really know how Hyena got the scarring in the first place.

I like the snarl! Are they hard for you to do, snarls? o.o Ah scars are hard to make look natural, especially one so big on the chest of that wolf o.o I think you did well though ^^
