I think I've drawn Elana more times now than some of my own characters XDEach time gets a little more polished though.
Here she is just about to go for a dive. Single tank this time, musn't be a really long one.
Yes I know that's a very low boat...maybe it's carrying lots of pirate gold.

Lovely, but she's missing a BCD, a weight belt, and a computer. But the boat height is fine. many dive boats have a low platform at the back to jump off of.

You should always go with a dive buddy. So if you get in trouble someone can bail you out.
It is a nice picture. Especially how the water distorts the image of the flippers in the water and how the light reflects of the water. I've only been to one place with water clear like that and that was at Catalina Island.

you need a full wet suit + these weird jackets that keep you warmer in icy waters where ice bergs lurk

Well, she's in tropical waters, lol. Plus, she does have fur, and I'd imagine neoprene rubber against fur would be really painful, especially on the arms / legs where the suit would pull often. So, a torso suit is more feasible for them, but alas, she is a bit limited in where she can dive.

Wow, this picture is awesome! I didn't know how the boat scene would go, but I am not disappointed, lol. And yes, it seems the more you draw her, the more polished she looks. The lighting effects on the water (and her) are very good indeed, and a boat with purple curtains... well, it's probably a great boat to have purple curtains. Very well done!
And yes, I am really liking commissioning you as an artist - you draw Elana perfectly. If you're tired of drawing her, I have a few other characters who could use a draw, but yeah, Elana's my favorite at this point, lol.
