I've been working on this for the last 3 or so weeks. This will be the last art piece of Nintendo's Fire Emblem: Awakening I'll be working on for a while. This time, it's Lucina, Robin, and Morgan, rather than just one or two of them. I wanted to practice some more painting techniques for this one, as opposed to the cel shading I've been doing lately. I wanted to paint my 3 best units in the game thus far. Even though Morgan is technically my strongest unit, I wanted to portray her as somewhat nervous or anxious: a novice, if you will. I enjoyed making this piece, and it was definitely a difficult task balancing all of the values and characters and such. I think it was worth it though. Enjoy!***EDIT: I made massive changes to the shading of this piece. I didn't have ambient occlusion in the old version... and I'm not great at it yet. I thought I'd give it a go though. I think it looks much better than before as well, closer to what I originally imagined too. This is Why i ship Lucina with male Robin *_* These two are a perfect Match. Lucina is befasst, Kind hearted and smart. Robin is awesome too, also super smart and his Magic is so strong. Oh and Morgan is the best Daughter in the Game ^_^

Female Morgan, love dat girl! She is just so perfect! "This ends here!" "Time to even the odds!" Her voice is one of the best ones in FE13!
In my best file, I got Mag as Asset and married Miriel... My fully capped Morgan with Limit Breaker and Book of Naga, Valflame and Excalibur just rushes through everything! I love her so much! Combined with her brother, they are unstoppable
Morgan's expression really looks the way you decribed it, so good job there! Depicting her with a Bronze Sword underlines it even more.
The contrast to the older version indeed is huge, it is so dark, while this one seems to be bursting in sunlight XD

Indeed, and while I don't dislike male Morgan, there's something about female Morgan that I find to be more fitting, if that makes sense.

I don't dislike MaleMorgan as well, he's pretty cool! For example his supports with Owain are hilarious and some of his voice clips are amazing! Though, FemaleMorgan is the cooler of the two nonetheless XD
That's one of the things I love at dA! The communtiy is great, as far as I can tell... I love having those little (or even bigger, I don't care XD) conversations with the artists or other commenters and without socializing, this is barely possible! Thus, whenever I comment, I try to build up a solid base for a conversation and if it doesn't bother the artist, why not using this base?
Anyway, it's a relief to hear so, because the last thing I want is to be annoying to people

The shading on this really makes it look like they're bathed in sunlight! I just love the textures and coloring techniques you used! QOOOOQ Not to mention I adore your art style~!
