Description
This is a project I've been working on for the last few days here and there. I've probably put more hours into Fire Emblem: Awakening than any other handheld game I've ever played. Plus, he's my favorite character to use in Super Smash Bros for Wii U. It was fun to work on this piece. Edit: I changed a couple things with the color and contrast to improve the value of the image. Nothing too major though.

This game is just more than awesome! I am soooo hyped for FE14 to finally release in America and Europe!
That link in the description... Id (Purpose) is a fantastic piece of music, but nothing reaches Id (Hope) IMO...
Concerning your picture, what I find most amazing here is the robe's detailing and shading/lighting, it looks really good!

Id (Hope) is pretty good, but it's more of a reflection of Lucina, whereas Id (Purpose) is more of a reflection on Robin. Hence why I chose that one instead.

Oh I am so gonna get 'em both! I like the gameplay mechanics of Hoshido better but only Nohr (not taking the third path into consideration now) allows me to marry Zero as MaleCorrin, and that is just one of the aspects I am eagerly looking forward for! I want to read their S-Support so badly! But I want the official version of it...
I also am 100% certain that I probably am going to like the third path best... Just because (from what I can tell at least) you can get every character there and I like for example both Flannel&Velour and Nishiki&Kinu... The third path allows me not having to choose between them
Concerning Id (Purpose), I really wish they'd give us some official lyrics for the chorus part... I believe it's Latin, but weird Latin...

Yep, perspective is difficult all right, especially any kind of perspective that involves heavy use of foreshortening. It just takes practice, and don't be afraid to ask people to pose for you or to look up references! You can't learn if you don't know what it looks like to begin with.

If you think about it, Robin is one of the biggest history-makers in Smash Bros, History.
1) He/She has the largest amount of base weapons (meaning without obtaining items or copying abilities to get weapons): Bronze Sword, Levin Sword, Arcfire, Elwind, Thunder->Elthunder->Arcthunder->Thoron, and of course, dat Nosferatu.
2) Robin is the first and only Fire Emblem character (at this time) to use magic.
3) Robin is also the only Fire Emblem character who cannot counter.
4)Robin has more swords than anyone in the "Knights of the Smash Table."
Well...that's all I can think of so far. If I'm missing anything lemme know.

5.) Robin is the only character in the Fire Emblem group selection who does not have blue hair as a default.

Ah, and there's another point, and a few more.
While Robin isn't really the first to have a charging special (charge specials like DK's Giant Punch, Samus's Charge Shot, or Mii Brawler's Ultimate Uppercut), he/she is the first and only Fire Emblem Character to have that type of attack.
If we're talking about all charging specials in general, then Robin will be the only one who can charge in parts, while Ike, Lucina, and Marth can't move while charging Shield Breaker or Eruption.
Also, Robin would probably be part of the "Birds of Smash," meaning that putting Captain Falcon, Falco, and Robin one one team gives you three people who are bird-like even if in name alone.
Robin, I think, is the first Smash Character that is not only a hero, but also an evil god named Grima.

Haha, thanks! There were a lot of steps involved in the overall process. Drawing, redrawing, and redrawing again. I kept several images of the in progress work; it's pretty neat to see it start from something super sloppy to what it is now.
