Yaaaaaay!! lent me a digi camera (i lost mine )

Clay sculpture. Glazed with red-brown. Stands around 12" to top of head. Called it Draikona because I lose at names, and Draco is latin for dragon (ITHINK?!).
So, yes. This was ithink my second serious sculpture. I had a reference drawing for it but I lost it. Every scale on that things body was painstakingly made by myself! The whole thing is hollow, and the clay is around 1/2 inch thick all round, with the exception of the head, feet and end of tail. Unfortunately, because of the halflight and overgrown garden grass, you cant see the foot, and tip of tail, which I thought looked really good o.o;
The left wing (on other side) had to be reconstructed twice, so I left it off the photos XD; Similarly the hind legs' toes fell off too, and some of the spines on the back and tail. And one bottom fang aswell. Got it glazed and fired by calling in a favour at my local polytechnic college. I wanted red, but there was only this murky reddish brown, so I settled for that. If ida had enough money I would have gone and bought bright red underglazing and then clear glazed the top. OMG it survived 2 firings, just.

Took around 70 hours spread out over 3 days. W0h000!!!
Made when I was, um 15 I think!
