This time I bring a smaller piece that was originally intended as a warm-up sketch...I liked how it came out so I decided to complete it, giving it a background, more detailed coloring and such...

It's a quick portrait of Cancer Deathtoll, the Cancer Gold Saint from 1747, in Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya manga, doing what he does best, rant and boast endlessly xD in the deathly gates of Praesepe. I was going to take a more, uuuh, campy approach to the picture, those who are reading the manga will know what I am talking about, but I decided to leave that for another time. Deathtoll is definitely one of the best new characters in Kurumada's manga, super funny but at the same time brave and seemingly a true Gold Saint, so he was a good character to make a drawing of. This time I used a smaller scale, and a improved color scheme for the Saints Cloths, I think it looks better than in other Saint Seiya themed pieces I have made. Also, I used a color outline instead of a black one, for the first time in a completed piece, something I had been wanting to try for a while. As usual, I used Kurumada's design from his comic book for the Cancer Gold Cloth, I just made the torso more anatomy-fitting, from the anime I only took the blue of the small plates from Cancer Deathmask's color palette, to throw in a more bit of color in an otherwise simplistic color scheme.

Well, I think it didn't come out that bad, and it's easier than larger scale drawings. I kind of dislike what Kurumada did with Deathtoll in the last chapters of the comics, he should be called now Deathball xD, so I was a bit discouraged to continue the piece, but I did anyway, maybe Deathtoll goes back to being the funny and cool character he has been until recently...I liked the piece, so I decided to upload it, I hope you like it
