I had some time to kill last night, so I decided to play around with coloring my All Business sketch. Now, ballpoint pen doodles are tricky little things to color, a bit like working with a pencil sketch on rough paper, and only some lend themselves to being colored well, so I decided to just go ahead and experiment with Seti from the start. Normally, I use 100% opacity in my coloring, occasionallly dropping down to maybe 70% when I'm airbrushing, but for this one, I wanted to try using very low opacity (35-40%) for the shading, and try and build up the color.This was the result. It still has a rough look from the ballpoint pen outline, and I'd definitely say it's more of a portrait pic rather than a dynamic composition, but I think I like it anyways. Also tried doing a little more muscle definition than I usually do, which mostly to make his fangirl, , happy. I think it worked.

except for his hair. there is just something about it. . .it looks to chunky or something. the jewelry could be a little more impressive, but the background and his outfit are perfect.

i like the soft fading colors for the sunset in the background. your texture for the stone of the building is good, but it continues through too much of the background. it would pop out more if the columns, wall, and floor didn't look like the same texture. sounds like the coloring technique you used was pretty time consuming. there is more muscle definition on this one, i'm particularly fond of how you shaded his pectoral muscles. (his manly boobs)
