Okay, so, my old tablet finally died, so I decided to break in the new one by playing around in a program I am totally not familiar with: Corel Painter Essentials, which came with the tablet. Since I've heard that Painter is supposed to be good at imitating traditional media, I figured it might be fun to try to do a painterly background while trying out cel shading on the characters - so yeah, total experiment here to try out the tablet and the software.Anyways, just a Medani centaur and his daughter heading home after a day of apple-picking.

Cool. I have always enjoyed your centaur art. Would be cool to see of other centaur tribes in your world of Medan such as wolf centaur or fox centaur.

Thank you! Medan only has the horse variety of 'taur, but I have occasionally been commissioned to do other kinds. You can find a couple of them in my "Commissions and Gifts" folder, if you're interested. ^^

Thanks! As for Corel, I think it's an interesting program that can create some interesting effects, but it's a little hard to get a handle on, perhaps. It could just be that I'm too used to Photoshop.
