Here's someone I haven't drawn in a few years: Isaac Archer (usually just called 'Zac'), son of Brian and Astarte in another dimension. He comes to visit every now and then thanks to the wands. Thanks to even more wand shenanigans, the age he is when he shows up varies from toddler to twenty-something. I really need to draw his twenty-something form again since it's been four years since I've drawn it, but first I wanted to attempt his teens form.

Anyways, two challenges in this pic: 1) dappled sunlight, and 2) drawing a slightly chubby/husky character.

For #1, I think it's not bad for a first attempt. Still looks like his shirt was sprayed with paint or something instead of dappled with light, but not a terrible attempt.

#2 was almost more of a challenge because I haven't often drawn slightly chubby characters - most of mine range from scrawny to nicely-toned-muscular. Zac was never really fat or anything - just more on the heavy side, particularly right before a growth spurt. Of course, he doesn't make it any easier for me by wearing clothes that help camouflage it, but I think I managed to draw him heavier than my normal characters.
