It was only years before that I had last come here. The birds no longer visit; but it was to be expected. ... In her absence, there is only a feeling of loneliness at the balcony. I clearly remember the beauty manifested in the land; everything glistened with life. And she had made that even more real. Every burden I had faded momentarily when I saw her there. It was something so rare... something I couldn't place my hand on. Something intangible. And yet... It had existed for only a fleeting moment. And all I remember is her sullen appearance- something I couldn't understand then. All she had left for me there was a look of longing; not on her face, but in her eyes. If there be one wish for me to take into my arms, it was that memory to come alive again. For her to return... But 'tis no more than a reverie. She... may be no longer, but part of the stars now.

Are you watching over? Has your soul found its way back here from the aeons? I pray, if then, that Mother let you pass on. There is no more good here.
Everything is losing its luster as the war goes on. And in this world without you... nothing is changing for the better.

Anyway, omg. I finally got this done in time for submitting this to the Teen Arts Festival. Woooooooooo. I'm glad for how well it came out, particularly the landscaping. Eternaire's a vast world and what you see here is a mere scrape of what it has to behold.
