Description
The first in a series of Pokemon that would do well with Naruto characters!!!!! Feel free to color as long as I am credited. Here's Naruto and his crew!!Kyukon (Ninetails): Belonged to his father who is a retired gym leader.
Kairyu (Dragonite): Naruto's childhood friend since it was a wee egg. A little naiive.
Nyorotono (Politoed): A birthday gift from Jiraya. A party animal with a big heart, but not-so-big brain....
Sonansu (Wobbuffet): Do I even NEED to expain? THEY'RE KINDRED SPIRITS!!!
Lucario: Another one of his father's Pokemon. Finds him lovable, but unbelievabley stupid. Often acts as Naruto's babysitter. The poor thing....
Zoruark: Originally his mother's. Is very much in love with Ninetails, but even to this day, has not made much progress....

In my opinion Gardevoir would have been a much better choice than Wobbuffet.
But this still very nice.

Gardevoir?....Gardevoir seems like a competent individual. I chose the Pokemon mainly to complement the characters' (or their families') personalities in some way...Wobbuffet and Naruto are dumbasses together.

The reasoning is that Gardevoir will give its life in order to protect its trainer from harm. But I also think that Braviary would be a better choice than both Gardevoir and Wobbufet.

Braviary is amazingly devoted to its friends and allies, Braviary won't stop fighting, even when severely injured, until his friends are safe. In these ways Braviary is just like Naruto.
Also, has Naruto ever been known for his patience, heck no, and Wobbuffet is known as 'The Patient Pokemon,' and doesn't learn any offensive moves, while Naruto is known for his awe inspiring attacks. You are also simply comparing Naruto and Jessie's Wobbuffet, none of Wobbuffet's pokedex entries talk about it being stupid or silly, only how it is patient, and hates light, and being shocked.

You were talking about what Wabbaufet's Japanese name was based on, not the origin of the pokemon itself, and I full well that it is possibly based on the late Sanpei Hayashiya, and I still think Wobbuffet is a terrible choice for one of Naruto's pokemon.
