When Red 'comes to', will he be embarrassed? Angry? Confused? Scared for different reasons? Will he stay and confront Paps or try to flee? Maybe he'll try to pretend nothing happened. Red has what I call 'level three' secrets...the kind that hurt the keeper more than anyone else.

On a serious note:
It may not be a good idea to try to interest with people without proper knowledge of their situations or training.
If they are people you know and they trust you, it may still be wise to find someone knowledgable.

Maybe, if Red has Haphtophobia, he will not react as Honey hopes... And I think this phobia is maybe related to bad things about his brother...
I hate physical contacts in general so I think I can imagine the Red's reaction...

Indeed... Maybe I'm wrong, but I associated the appearance of this phobia for Red to another drawing where he was crying and where he hid to Grillby what his "boss" did to him...
Maybe what his brother did to him at that moment is the reason why he's afraid of physical contacts and the indirect reason why Red and Grillby broke up... (assuming that they broke up)

His haphephobia doesn't stem from that one instance only, it developed over a long period of time. That instance was one of the earlier instances for sure, so you're on the right track, but there is more behind than just that :,>

As usual, your skill with expressions and body language are mind-blowing. So much is communicated in simple motions.
It's funny how many people in the last pages were worried about Red being hugged during a panic attack. There's more than one kind, with more than one cause. In this case, I think Pap made the right choice. Because Red needs something to ground him right now. And there is no way words would have gotten through in that state. Once he begins to calm down and come back to the present, it also helps to reinforce that he can receive physical contact that's not painful or has negative intent behind it. Actually, Pap's intent will likely get through the panic attack before the hug even registers, since intent carries so much weight for monsters. I have a feeling Red's not used to being surrounded by intentions like concern and comfort. But while it might confuse him a little, I think the stark difference from negative intentions he's used to will help him focus on the present moment. Here's hoping it helps as much as we all want it to.
