Description Innocence so swiftly stolen on the day you left me here,

My playmate, sibling, friend and loved-one, memories of you are held so dear

You seemed so sweet and strong and gentle, we shared laughter over little things,

I taught you sharing, you showed me patience. Two infant birds developing wings

But mine were heavy, they held me down, while yours were bright and strong,

I couldn't follow where they took you and to call you back was wrong

Death strikes hard in the breast of babes and it made me fight to breathe,

For six long years I mourned for you but then pain began to ease

Confusion became acceptance and loss turned into thanks,

Thanks for what we shared together, thanks for the time we had.
