Description
You completely bypass the rocky façade,

Those stunning blue eyes pierce straight to my heart,

An organ so malleable under your touch,

With your strong, tender hands you make my lungs clutch
      at the air.

I'm gasping for breath when you hold me this close,

Cheek touching cheek and toes touching toes,

It's tentative, timid, explosive and new,

The beginning of something I've shared with so few
      in my time.

I've spent a month hoping that you feel the same,

Both of us playing a 'do you, don't you?' game,

And now you've said yes without saying the words,

And the morning is magic and I sing with the birds
     like a fool.
