"I fell down the swears I stair" - another of my sister's more eloquent moments.You can just tell that Jiroh is after flailing in his sleep and smacking Atobe in the face which is why he's looking so disgruntled. Jiroh's having a bad dream...I'm sure Atobe will comfort him after he gets over being indignant.
I planned on doing so much more colouring but I came across one GIGANTIC hitch in my plans.....
My brother....gave me his DS....with Tetris.......

Also...my 3 days off turned into not 3.....I'm working tomorrow...I'm torn between 'Hey aren't you supposed to have every second sunday off and isn't this like my 4th in a row...' and 'yay! sunday pay!'......aww my day off tho...and I've been so inspired in between tetrising.

how is it similar? that would make any picture with two people in a bed, one with silvery hair similar to that picture? are you comparing jirou to that yellow blob thing? ="=;;;
its a different style, different characters, different angle, different mood. that really doesnt leave many tangible similaries.

I personally find this really insulting because you are insinuating that she copied your art....also known as art theft. I know you didnt outright say that but you tone implied it, right down to the emote.
What exactly are the similarities?
Okay, there are two people lying on a bed in each picture...well technically even THAT's not correct because Atobe is sitting up in her pic. Its night time.....There's a bed. Oh hey look, a blue wall. And Atobe has silver hair.....There's a bed. Does that mean that any picture with two characters in a bed is 'similar' to yours?
There's nothing even VAGUELY similar about the poses, expressions. The angle its from is different. There's a definite light source in Julie's as opposed to the general one in yours.
Maybe you should think before you question people like this?

Julie and I are pretty friendly terms since meeting on Deviantart. We're both open to share art tips with each other should we ever meet. I'm not 'insinuating' anything, just making a point about a *twidge* simliarity betwen our pictures, ie. two characters snoozing in bed. Since her compostions have been pretty original thus far, I was worried she was losing her jazz!
Some compadre you are, calling Julie a wimp. Maybe you should think before insulting my friends on their message boards?

You realise you did not even comment on the picture itself, all you did was piont out that it was a 'twidge' (the use of that word making people suspect the artist more) Similar to one you did. WHICH IT IS NOT.

I'm always impressed by the way you use dark colors... Well, I'm typically impressed by your coloring in general. 
On a side note, I've always wanted a bed like that.

I start with much more light spots and then i look at it and think 'where would that arm be casting shadows?' *adds more shadows* 'That part wouldn't be light' *more shadows* So i usually end up with twice as many shadows as what i think at the start. And when i pick the first colour for the shadows I make it darker. I instinctively pick a safe colour.
So have I oddly. One where when you sit back real quick you don't nearly crack your head open on the wall...LOL There's something so royal about the red upholstery.
