At this point I've realised that it's far too much work to keep up this kind of detail so page 3 has been stripped down to pretty raw essentials, and then page 4 has picked it up a bit more.

4 is ready to go, but I want to submit page 3 first before uploading it.

*sigh* sadly not, I did try a semester at QUT's visual arts but I could not stand it. Learning about impressionists and abstracted ways of expression didn't appeal much at all to me - I wanted to learn technique, method, foundational art skills but it was not to be.
So instead I'm in my 3rd year of Science/Education degree at UQ doing mathematics and science My mad skills comes from my initial love for comicbooks when I was 10, reading whatever drawing tutorials I could find on the web, but most of all I learned everything the hard way since the web wasn't that much of a help.

Oh I just thought of a tip for you - try hold a mirror in your left hand when drawing. It's a big eye opener, and it saves me alot of times from drawing skewed heads and things, nowadays I just use photoshop to flip the pencils and then use liquify to nudge it around rather than re-draw it all.

So what do you study? Enjoying it so far?

Whoa! I sympathise with you on the art side, that's the same reason for me, but then you picked up these awesome skills by yourself! Ooh, I'll try that tip, so far I've been taking pictures of my hand to try and figure out how it should look, but it doesn't always work Oh, completely off topic, my course is just a plain old Bachelor of Arts

Well if you're *that* jealous of my skills, then add me to Skype and you can ask me all the questions you like, or even watch me draw in photoshop/illustrator in real-time. My username's the same as DA but swap the hyphens for underscores

Can always use more cat-lover friends (or cat-friends, depending on what you are? O_o)

Know what I'm doing? Well only as much as a teacher can <--joke cuz teachers never know what they're doing, oh wait that's *relief* teachers!

Well there's no rush in finding what you want to do with your life, sure your friends might graduate ahead of you, but in the end you will have spent more time thinking about what you wanted, and hopefully that'll come back and reward you in the years to come.

If you don't mind me asking, but what kinds of things are you studying in the BA degree? History?
