Was?!    Oh my...that doesn't sound good?    The photo didn't appear to be posted that long ago, so I figured....oh geez....

This photo is about 1,5 years old And was, yes, sadly. He was very ill, so we had to make the difficult decision to put him to sleep. He wasn't going to get better, and we didn't want him to suffer anymore. It's been almost a month now

Oh that's so sad.   He appeared so young by the photo.  I really am such a cat person. I've always had a kitty around.  I recent had to go through the same type of thing last year with my little companion, Mandy. I had her 16 years and she also became very ill. It nearly broke my heart.  Time does have a way of healing...and my wife has since brought two wonderful rescue kitties into our home, Chloe and Ally.

He was young, only a few months old when this photo was taken It still hurts that he's gone, but we know that we did the right thing for him. Loving an animal also means letting go when needed, no matter how painful it is.
Cats are wonderful animal. New cats don't replace the old ones, but they do make the healing process a lot easier
