I'm starting a journal of patterns, for backgrounds, texture, filler, embellishment, engraving, mendhi, and doodling. I doodled this on the cover.These are all "Zentangle" patterns.
I have a love-hate relationship with Zentangle. It's really, really fun, but WHO THE @#$% TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHTS _DOODLING_?!?!? Ugh!

I feel the same way about Zentangle. I've taken to calling it patterned drawing. More descriptive anyway.
