Description
Hours seemed to pass since Manticore had violated me... My eyes were red and hurt from crying, my throat burned and my body trembled.
"This can't be real..." I thought.
"It just can't..."
New tears came to my eyes. I wanted to curl up and cry, but I was still tied. Manticore had left me in the same position with the awful metal ring still strapped in my mouth. I could taste the blood in my mouth and licked my dry lips. My heart stopped as I heard the door creak open.
"How are you Dex?" Manticore said.
He was smirking, I could feel it...
"Ready to talk...?"
I wanted to tell him to jump off a bridge but all the came out was a pathetic sounding murmur.
"I'll take that as a no..." Manticore said.
"No duh," I thought.
"Maybe a second round would change your mind," Manticore said.
I looked up and him, terror in my eyes.
"NNNNNGGGGNNN!" I cried.
I felt the tears fill my eyes and slip down my face. I frantically struggled against the ropes only causing myself more pain. Manticore smiled.
"What's the matter Dex...? Afraid?" He said.
I lowered my head, awaiting my fate. I couldn't stop the tears as they streamed down my face. How long was I going to have to suffer...? This was a living hell.
"Look at me." Manticore said.
"No, I'm not giving you shit," I thought.
Manticore grabbed my chin and titled my head up. My scared eyes met with his smug, evil ones.
"I'd tell you to open your mouth...but it's already forced open," Manticore said.
I whimpered as he yanked on the strap attached to the metal ring. Manticore grinned.
"Well let's get started...shall we," he said.
I squeezed my eyes shut. I heard Manticore undo his pants.
"No...please NONONO!!" I thought.
I heard a loud crash and looked up. The door was hanging off its hinges and standing in the doorway was a pissed off Val. I could see the rage burning in her eyes.
"Get. Away. From. Him." Val said.
"Oh your protector is here..." Manticore replied looking at me.
Val ran at him, knocking Manticore back. I lost sight of them but could hear the fight. A few minutes later, everything became silent. I froze hearing footsteps. I closed my eyes too afraid to look...afraid it was Manticore. A hand touched my cheek causing me to whimpers softly.
"Shhhhh, it's me Dex," Val said.
I opened my eyes and saw her concerned face. I breathed a sigh of relief. I was safe. Val snapped the ropes my knees immediately gave out. Val caught me before I crashed into the concrete. She carefully removed the horrible gag.
"...V-Val.." I said with hoarse voice.
"Shhhh, don't talk," Val replied.
She gently picked me up. My body still trembled.
"Let’s go home," Val said holding me close.
I closed my eyes and let my head rest against Val's shoulder. Val looked down at me with a gentle smile, but I didn't see it. I must've fallen asleep or something, cuz' I woke up in my bedroom laying in my bed or was I dreaming...? Had all this just been some terrible nightmare? I hoped to dear god it was...
"Dex?" a voice said.
I looked over and saw Val sitting in a chair next to my bed, that's when I knew I wasn't dreaming.... I coughed a little causing my throat burn. Tears started to fill my eyes as I thought about what had happened. Val sat on the bed and pulled me into her arms.
"Shhhhh," she said trying to comfort me.
"T-the things he did...I-I..." I stammered.
"I know Dex," Val replied.
"He tried to get me to tell him where you were...b-but I wouldn't," I said.
"You were very brave," Val replied rubbing my back.
I hid my face in her shoulder another sob shaking my body.
"It's all right, I'm here..." Val said.
She knew there was nothing she could do to make the memories go away and that broke her heart. After a while, the tears stopped. I sat back and looked at Val.
"You should get some rest," she said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
I didn't really want to...but nodded. I laid back against the pillows and sighed. Val pulled the blanket to my shoulders.
"I'll be in the living room if you need anything," she said.
I quickly grabbed her hand.
"S-stay...please..." I said quietly.
Val looked at me and nodded. She sat down on the bed with her back against the headboard and wrapped an arm around my shoulders. I rested my head on her shoulder.
"I won't let anyone near you," Val said.
I didn't want to be alone... I knew the nightmares would soon start... At least Val was there to keep me company. I fell asleep curled up against her. The first nightmare came nearly an hour after I was asleep. I woke up screaming, but Val was right there by my side. The rest of the night was rather restless for both of us... By the time morning came, Val and I were now sound asleep and the nightmares seemed to have ceased for the time, that is...until Manticore comes after me again...
