This lineart, like the zodiac piece I just posted, is actually pretty old. From 2004 I think?This is Denise, and her eyes are orange because the lineart was originally for a character that I don't really draw anymore, and I had that character in my head when I started CGing this and forgot to change the eyes... Besides, I think I like them better with the colour scheme!
I really love browns, and I hear more and more people say they don't like them :\ I also wanted to draw with purple because I really like brown/orange/purple together :3
Please don't point out that her glasses are crooked/not the same sized/bent. I already know! :3

I love the look in her eyes... It's so mysterious but shocking at the same time. The effect is great! I also like browns and then reds too and I think her hair colors are simply great!

i love the color scheme. brown, purple and orange definitely always look good together. i love playing with weird color mixtures, sometimes you can be surprised with what you get.
i especially like the background texture, it really enhances her features.

My face doesn't work well with them either. I ahve to wear small ovalish ones and sometimes they look even better when their is no rims on the bottom. But I love aviator glasses. They rock. XD

The style here is wonderful and the movement of the hair really works. The light colouring gives it a very delicate feeling - but what sort of bugs me in this piece is the colour of her lips. The shade is too strong and it really stands out. Otherwise, a very beautiful drawing.

Oh sorry, i donΒ΄t like cause i think this texture on background donΒ΄t combine with the paint, in my opinion it could be better without this texture.

her flowy hair is loooovely! me loves flowy hairs. i really like how the top is uncoloured and like blends in with the rest of the paper. very cool there and the pretty flower border is so neat. this could be like stationary or something

One of my favorites of yours in a long time. It all just looks so.... finished. The background is great and adds a lot to the piece, but the way the fur and white shirt use negative space is even more impressive. They aren't separate things-- they are tied together.

She's so prettyy! You're right, the combination of brown purple and orange makes the whole thing really works... and pretty unique too :3 The lineart of her hair is awesome, and I would ahve thought that her eyes were only orange because of the glasses if you wouldn't have talked about it ^^ I love her lips a lot, and the shading of her breast too ^^ They both have a lot of volume, and they make Denise look even more feminine, without her being vulgar. I love that <3

whoa gorgeous! as always, the color combo works really well despite that i abhorrrrrrr purple. i like how you highlighted the browns with an intense reddish hue, it really gives it an intensity.
the coloring itself has a lot of depth to it, it gives a really convincing sense of volume. the part i like most is her face and eyes, they are stylized but look more realistic than your usual works somehow.
really lovely and interesting piece!

Nah its mostly like I go to peoples pages and they randomly say things like "I used brown-which I don't normally use cause I don't like it" not like people were dissing others for using them or anything :3
