I'm surprised I didn't post this earlier, but here it is anyhow.Like I said before, I'm a big fan of the Gemma Doyle trilogy by Libba Bray and I felt I needed to tribute to it a little more. I really like Gemma as a character and how she grows throughout the trilogy, being practically a child in the first book and then begins to grow until the end of the trilogy when she's more of an adult.
I decided to show little hints of the book in this, the flowers representing the realms, the purple butterfly trailing gold dust representing her powers and the earring her life in India...and Kartik.

KG, you draw and color hair so well. I always enjoy how much movement there is in the hair, and I wish I had this color! Although I'm not familiar with Gemma Doyle, I really like the flowers in her hair and their detail, and the butterfly. Beautiful!
