"At least blow the candles out or you'll get wax on your cake."

You rolled your eyes and placed the cake on the bench and sat patiently.

At the end of practice, Bokuto started bragging more about how his girlfriend brought him an early birthday cake even though his birthday was a little more than a week away.
"Hey, hey, hey! Only the best gets the cake!"
"We get it, the amazing you got cake and we didn't."

He nommed (not even a word..) on the cake and asked:
Where did you buy this?

"Bokuto-chan, do you promise to not ask things like if someone BOUGHT THE CAKE for you?" Your voice was dangerously low.
"YES, PLEASE SPARE ME!"

You hummed, satisfied.
"Okay! You're gonna get another cake for your birthday on the twentieth, but make sure you don't ask if I bought it. I always give homemade cake."

You spared him, but just barely.
You were tempted to push his face down into the half-eaten cake, but you didn't.
Bokuto sure felt lucky that you, his slightly violent girlfriend, had spared him.
