Second ever Oekaki off of an Oekaki Board!! (the first was a fat-necked kakashi that I don't want to speak of)This has got a story behind it, about the Naruto filler episodes and how they may or may not be "jumping the shark." It was this discussion over at the Chuunin community on livejournal, and somebody commented, explaining the origin of the phrase "jumping the shark" along with the following sentence:
Naruto will not jump the shark until Gai literally, on water skiies, jumps over Kisame.
And thus, this was born. I'm not sure if I'm gonna post it in said community, as someone else has already claimed fanarting rights over the idea. But you gotta admit, best crack idea EVER.

Jumping the shark is a metaphor that was originally used to denote the tipping point at which a TV series is deemed by a viewer to have passed its peak, or has introduced plot twists that are illogical in terms of everything that has preceded them.
