I finished it!

I must say, I am THRILLED with how this turned out! When I first stared drawing this, I had intended to color it digitally, but as I did more on it, I thought that coloring it digitally wouldn't have given it the look I wanted. Besides that, it's been a while since I took on a challenging traditional project like this.

This wouldn't have turned out NEAR as awesome if my mom hadn't gotten me a white gel pen for Christmas! That pen has come in handy for SO many things already!

Anyhoo, here's what's going on in the picture:

The way the Windegos reacted to any expression of friendship reminded me of how demons hate it when we pray. So, in my mind, pegasi, unicorns, and earth ponies were at war and always praying to God that He would smite the other tribes and complaining to Him about the storm, saying that if He really loves them then He'll make it go away.

They eventually lost faith in Him and took matters into their own hands (or hooves ), setting out to find a new land. But because of their hatred and lack of trust in God, the Windegos found them there, too. Because the leaders of the three tribes were so focused on their own hatred for each other and did not have (or want to have) God's love in their hearts, the Windegos were able to trap them in ice.

However, the three remaining ponies had nothing against each other. Knowing that they all shared the same fate, they decided to join hands and say one last prayer, asking God to forgive their leaders and themselves for fighting and hating each other, and also thanking Him for this one last chance to put aside their differences and join together in prayer.
Of course, because the last three put themselves under God's protection, the Windegos could not keep them trapped in ice, and God delivered them and their leaders, giving them the promised land of Equestria.

Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
