Yeah, me too. The steel on steel grinding/shrieking is intense and the whooshing sound of a passing train is sublime. Music to my ears.

I lived next to a busy subway junction in Berlin and the tracks ran right by my kitchen window. Summer night parties during a thunder and lightning storm complemented by the industrial howling of passing trains...sparks flying off the third rail....the smell of rain and electricity in the air...music pumping and people enjoying themselves...good times!

i've always wanted to go to Mars. it's been a dream of mine since i was little. up until a year ago i was well on my way to getting there, but things took a rough turn. i quickly realized i wasnt as smart as i needed to be. i was still determined to chase dreams and do what needed to stay on my feet, but then Obama! he had to shut down the space program! now that goal is no more to me than what it seemed to everyone else...just a child's dream.
