Meet Ulynn, a - for my viewers - a new character. They are already written in one of my Legacy-episodes. Legacy is my short-story-series for the Forever Young-universe. They will appear in my Horizon-series (previously known as Mirai), which I hopefully can start writing after I finished a couple of other stories.

I made the coloured sketch first, but then I did some more head-studies. I can't seem to draw them with their mouth closed yet. Oh well, guess I need to practice more Gives me a great excuse to draw more of them. Head #1 is my fav, followed by #2.

Facts:

Hair-colour: Mint-blue or Ice-blue

Eye-colour: Orange

Skin/Complexion: Slightly tanned, mostly from being out and about all the time. They're very active.

Born in: Country MorningSnow, in the town Sanyulo.

Ulynn is a Spirit User, mostly self taught when we meet them. They can only do one 'trick', as they calls it themselves: if they touch you, you cannot lie. It is suggested Ulynn could learn how to change this power into making people say things Ulynn wants (mind control), but they do not want that power and don't want to learn that.

Ulynn is also... something new, to most people on Seken. As you can see, I already wrote 'they'. Most people call them a 'he' (and sometimes 'she', considering his choice of clothes), and Ulynn does accept that, but they themselves consider themselves... 'other or none'. On Earth, we would call them Non-binary, but on Seken, the world is still pretty binary. This will of course change in the future of Seken, but please remember that the current story takes place in a Medieval-like setting and while people have heard of 'others', they are still rare.

Our hero-tribe does accept Ulynn for who they are. Ulynn can also finally be who they are.

- Ulynn does dress up as male when there are visitors, because that's the social role that's expected of them (by people who are NOT Ulynn's tribe). The IceHunters do not ask this of them. Ulynn says they do this because Ulynn wants people to think of Castle MorningSnow as perfect. they THINK being themselves could ruin the queen's and castle's reputation.

- Ulynn wears both male and female clothes, depending on their mood. When they feel at ease and happy, they usually pick bold colours. When they are serious, they often lean to muted tones.

- Ulynn loves everyone. They think hating someone is just a waste of energy.

- Ulynn does things for the fun of it. Like learning sign language. Learning is fun!

- Ulynn idolizes Prince Keiran, who taught them many stealth techniques.

- Ulynn idolizes Queen Naraku, for she is so beautiful, powerful and perfect (Yes, they really idolize her, despite having met her and serving under her for several decades)

- Ulynn wears reading glasses, but it is unknown if they actually still need them and have replaced them with plain glass ones. You see, during Ulynn's time in the tribe, several Magical Healers were present: Naraku, Yume, Suta, Iri, Ravos and Tengai. When Magic first emerges, it can go haywire and affect people unwillingly. During Magic Puberty, that can happen again. Ravos was a 'normal Magical Healer' (who learned anti-healing, so he could make himself sick and learn more about illnesses and medicine that way) but Tengai was not a normal one. Their eyesight may have restored itself during one of those 2 growing up.

- Ulynn has a very go-lucky-attitude, but also very capable of empathy and wisdom. They are the best friend and councilor one could wish for. They could kick your butt if you needed it!

Their weapon is still undecided, but considering their idolization, it'll probably be knives.

I know some people do not approve of this choice of character and I am fine with that. We all have our opinions and world views.

Ulynn just wants to be Ulynn. So I let them be who they are.
