Um..so...can you like re-write the entire series? Because this is so wonderful I don't even have words. My biggest problem with the warrior cats series is that there's a sort of disconnect from the characters' feelings, which I think makes their personalities harder to flesh out. I kept holding out hope that the Erins would just go that extra step, just get a little more under their characters' skin, but they never did, really. I really do love the books, especially the first series, and I didn't notice this until I got older and went back to reread them. They write about their thoughts just fine, it's just their feelings that they can never seem to convey on a deeper and more meaningful level. They can't write relationships very well either, which also frustrated me a good deal because I LOVE Firstar and Sandstorm, Graystripe and Silverstream, and definitely Squirrelflight and Bramblestar, and I would have loved to have seen these relationships fleshed out more. You did such a good job writing these characters I just couldn't help but clap my hands and jump around my room like a crazy person. I haven't read the last two books in the fourth arc yet, but even so I think this is an excellent and satisfying conclusion/epilogue. Well done!!

Oh but aren't you the sweetest thing I've seen for a long time... it makes me so happy that you think so, thank you *w*Β
And you're also voicing my exact problem with the relationship aspect of the Erins' writing, and their certain lack of depth and emotion, which are supposed to go hand in hand. I like the books myself, loved the first series, but as an afterthought I too found a lot of things lacking. The characters feel unfinished, important bits being left out. Which is what would then prompt me to write my own take on things, because otherwise I get frustrated out of my mind.Β
So yes, if it weren't for the obvious fact that I'd never have the disipline or patience for it, I could have ended up rewriting the series out of sheer annoyance. xD

I like it! I could see it happening...now that the prophecy is fulfilled and the Three have done their job, why shouldn't Squirrelflight be able to get pregnant? I mean, Dovewing's lost her super hearing, right? Things change...why not this??

Thanks! My point exactly, with the so-called 'powers' deactivated, and the whole scenario is over, then why not? And StarClan is whimsical enough to oversee a few details so to speak.Β

Wait til you see the manga at the end of Bramblestar's Storm...
Let's just say we called it.

Oh wow... I am speechless.Β
Isn't that the most melodramatic scene there's ever been? xDΒ
At least there's to all us Squirrelflight supporters who's been hating on haters all these years. *high five*
(On another note, I like to think that my fanfic added a bit more depth as to the "why" here, so yeah. Still "I think I'm sick" bwahaha I wrote that first xD)
Thanks for showing me, sweetheart!

Looking at the last panel, I'm guessing they're going to have 4 kits (there are 4 bright stars, and remember, Leafpool kept seeing 3 bright stars when she was pregnant)...so I'm guessing there's going to be another prophecy, another quest, and another set of 6 books revolving around the grandchildren of Tigerstar and Firestar...

Ehehe, I'm still working on a continuation - with lots of attempted humour though. xD Because I can't do it any other way.
I love them too, which is what prompted me to write this, when I felt that the story ending kind of didn't justify their hard lives. ^^

Yay for attempted humour!
I know right. Warriors has a bad habit of creating some deadly feud and then suddenly making it okay.

I'm crying.
I haven't read the novella yet, but I was told through a friend about Squirrelflight's infertility... we were all very upset with the hunters over this.. (SquirrelXBramble FTW)
This is one of the most tear-wrenching and beautiful pieces of literature I have read in a long while. You possess some serious writing talent.Β
Squirrelflight should totally have kits after the whole Dark Forest rising thing. And if it is never written, I will use my own poor writing talent to make it happen!Β Β

I'm totally not already writing what should happen...Β Β
You're welcome with that praise as it is what I truly thought of this, it really is a work of art :3

We certainly do, that's for sure. *High five.* And it's been long since I had this need for writing, all the discussing kinda forced my hand. xD
Could happen, after all Mapleshade is among the few cats who could be compared to what these two had to be feeling; feeling destiny pulling you backwards, dooming you to nothing, isn't everyday sorrow.
Hmm, perhaps I'll use Maple for a prefix, unless something even more appropriate shows itself. Squirrelflight is definitively having one of each gender though, that's already decided.Β
And that is so sweetly said, thanks a hundred-fold. I'm always so worried over my writing, for try as I may, I'm not English-born, and when I translate certain 'sayings' could end up warped.Β

What about Turtlemaple or Mapleturtle? But I think some cats need second chances, Cinderpelt shouldn't be the only cat given a second chance.
My best friend is foreign and I talk to other people from other countries, I know that English is not everyone's first language, but I think I grown use to a few weird spellings. The point is clear and truly it doesn't me. You did a good effort either way, some people tend to write better than others...*sigh*

Hmmm, still thinking.
And yes, Cinderpelt is not the only cat deserving of second chances. A few more should be given so, just to even out the favour scale here...
You make a good point, and thanks again. I'm only glad the points are all understood. And I think you write pretty well too, your responses to me are certainly good enough.
