Description I'm submitting this a little late again, but I hope it'll still be accepted. If I could put aside the rest of my life so I'd have more time to devote to stuff like this, I would since this really is fun!

So, this week's brief was:
For this week's challenge we're still keeping things simple. We want you to design us an outfit using only three colours. This includes accessories. The type of garment and stuff is pretty much up to you, but there is one catch, as we want to start challenging you this week: It has to look like it could be worn to the beach...But we don't want bathing suits or bikinis!!
If you are using a certain material, such as cork wedges, or a straw hat, or a gold belt buckle, they do not count as one of your three colours. They can stay their natural colour.
This challenge doesn't have to be super hero themed.

My inspiration for this was the fact that over here (which would be Finland) a beach is most likely to actually be the shore of a lake. So no tropical beaches with white sand and azure seas, but more like rocky and sandy shores with blue-green water and fluffy white clouds above, all framed by birch trees and reeds.

***

This is an outfit for a slow summer day by the lake, with a sauna, swimming and maybe a picnic of sandwiches and juice in the evening.

The light linen tunic is gathered at the bust, and has pockets "hidden" into the folds. Underneath there's turqoise cotton shorts and underneath it all she'd be wearing her bikini (I know you said no bikinis or swimming costumes, but since the bikini here serves more as underwear, I'm thought it'd be OK) so she can just strip down and go for a swim.

The outfit also includes turqouise sandals and a turquoise & brown patterned cotton scarf to protect the hair from the sun. The matching hobo-bag (I couldn't help myself, I love hobo-bags!) is for all the necessary things like sun lotion, sun glasses and an old paperback to read while laying on a blanket in the shade of the birch trees.

(Critique, please.)

I'm going to.
I'm in the process of starting up my own business and once all the paper pushing and bureaucracy is done, I hope to indeed make money off of my talent.

Thank you.
I just came across a great online entrepreneurial course (it's free!) that'd be a good fit for me, seeing as I'm not having much luck getting into an actual course and one is still reguired for being eligible for start-up aid.

I love this! I like the usual wearablity of it all, plus your creativity and innovation. The colors are really cool and the print is awesome!

Thank you. I'm really having fun designing fashion, it's so different from costumes where you don't have to much worry about the wearablility of the garment as long as it looks good.

Thank you.

I actually scanned the pattern from one of my favourite fabrics. The scale of it here is some what bigger than it's in real life, since I wanted it to stand out a bit more.
