I no longer have the pattern for this one, but I just sort of made it up as I went.

Its adorable! Its so cool to see these sorts of things all I can manage to crochet is sqares and that sort of thing, that's mainly 'cause I do it by feel because of my vision. Its a little difficult to do more indepth stuff that way. I'm sure if I tried I could do more but I don't know if I'd ever be able to do this level of cuteness.

I remember my late great grandmother Olga (who I have a lot of fond memories of) was the one who sparked my interest in crocheting. At that time she could hardly see, but she was still amazing to me. Then when she lost her sight completely, she was still crocheting. She had big balls of yarn of all sorts of mixed colors, which were made up of peices all tied together. And she made quite a few lap blankets and one drawstring purse. She was crocheting for a few years after she lost her sight, until she got too sick. But everyone in the family cherished those blankets. Mine's put away for safe keeping right now.
It's all a matter of determination. And after a time, I don't even have to look at my hands while I'm working (Unless it's that crappy yarn that splits when you're using it). As long as I keep a row marker I know when to stop. I watch TV when I crochet. I'm always multi-tasking.
Amigurumi takes a good amount of dedication. And math... I hate math.
My current project is a filet chart bag. Working an image into the side of the bag via color change. Now this is turning out to be a pain! And I have a LOOOONG ways to go, but I'm not giving up. Though I know now it's not getting done by friday at least it's a personal project.

Oh wow thats sweet. My grandma did a lot of crocheting too, though she didn't have the issues with sight. She was the one who inspired me to crochet in the first place.
I found this very encouraging, thank you! I should really go find some good left handed instructions on how to do something more then what I've been doing. Thank goodness for the internet.

Teehee southpaw. Most of it's pretty simple still, once you know the stitches it's all numbers. It shouldn't matter what side you're working from as long as you follow the basic steps.
If you find anything you want converted, send it my way. Or if you have a hard to decipher pattern. I'm happy to help, some people's patterns are written funny.
