there's a book. A special book full of poetry and and I had the honor to make a ilustrations for three of them.

so this is the first one that I give here.

It name is ''Years and Flowers''
It´s the slovak poem so...
"It's difficult to provide an accurate translation - English grammar is
completely different from Slovak and acts as a restraint in this case:
the poems are beautifully subtle and tender in Slovak and changing
them is impossible just as it is impossible to improve pure perfection
)" my friend Liu said and after that, translate that poem to english.
So... here it is:

Roky a kvety

Kvety sa lámu ako roky –
jeden svieti vo váze
druhy viaže ruky
tretí zvädne
Ako roky
Málo je tých ktoré svietia –
hrejú
Lámu sa a vädnú
Padajú na ruky na tvár
a vyšívajú vrásky

Do Tvojich dlaní dám Ti kvety
hoci viem – zvädnú
Však z Tvojich dlaní život svieti –
hrejú
Rád by Ti vložil do úst slovo
ktoré vraj vrchy prenáša –
kvety nech sú Ti týmto slovom
radosť nech roky odnáša...

Years and Flowers

Flowers break like years –
One shines in a vase
Another binds hands
The third withers away
Just like years
Very few shine –
Warm up
They break and wither
Fall unto hands unto faces
Embroider wrinkles

Into your hands I will place flowers
Even if I know – they will wither
But from your hands life shines –
Warms up
I would like to put a word into your mouth
That supposedly makes the world go round –
So let flowers be this word
Let happiness take away the years...
