Well, if you look at the original gif, the arms don't seem to move all that much as he walks away, which is what Kiwa has tried to copy here I suppose.

Uh, gawd. Ignore this, it was meant for another critique and I'm tired. Sorry.

I like the rough, sketchy feeling of this animation, but I've noticed a few things and I can't figure out if it's intentional or not.
I realise that you have limited your use of frames to make a smaller file size, but it has impacted on the piece in a few ways. When he walks, towards "Nope", it looks as though he stops very suddenly; almost in a robotic manner. He doesn't seem to slow down at all. Just stops, turns for a few frames (which seem to have more thought and effort put into them than the rest of the piece) and walks off.
Also, close to the end, I think the last four frames, his arms don't move and he sort of just floats off-screen.
Other than that, the colours and line-work are great.

Original GIF? You saying this one was plagiarised/stolen?

I never said it was plagiarised or stolen, I meant the gif she used as a reference.

Just had a look at the GIF this is based on... Good lawd. She had that as a 'base', was likely tracing over the top and she still didn't quite get the timing right. I suppose it'd be harder if you had less frames to work with, but there would have been ways to work around that.

Hey, that's a little rude. She's not perfect, she just wanted to draw a silly gif and personally I think it's amazing.

I didn't say anything about personality? It takes a lot of talent to be able to even create this gif, so I give kudos for that. In my opinion, I think it is just fine. I see no major differences in the movements.

You said she was awesome so I assumed you were talking about her personality.
"A lot of talent to make GIFs"?

This is a simple tutorial. There are plenty of others that deal with image quality, compression, keyframes and timing, etc.
Now you, too, can be uber 1337 and make GIF images!
As for seeing "no major differences in movements", you need to be borderline OCD when it comes to animation.

Exactly why not everyone is involved with the animation industry. Stop being so defensive.

(sorry if you think these comments are annoying, i just wanna mention something ;_
i think why he pauses a little bit before turning around and leaving, is because of the other GIFs I've seen(when they go nope), it looks like before the 'NOPE' happens they pause like they're thinking about what they're doing, and they just decide nope and walk away. or that's just me xD
(once again sorry (._.))

It's pretty much showing him getting closer to the camera as he walks forward. Though it's pretty easy to find that a bit strange when you're looking at it from that perspective

I suppose so you're right. I guess because its hard to tell with a background. Everyone looks at a image through different lense. Maybe I feel that way to about the image because the growing big and smaller is a discretely noticeable. However, only the maker would be able to answer our curiosity.

First off, this is hilarious. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/x/x⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="XD"/> This is actually my first time seeing the gif, and I love the fact that you took cry and made it into it! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h⦠" width="15" height="13" alt="" title="Heart"/>
The animation is very neat as far as I can see, and to be honest, I don't think I'm the one to be making a critique! I honestly think I'm not as neat with my art as this, so it inspires me a ton. ^^ The thing with cry is that you can't show emotion with his face, because of his mask, but I still think you've got a lot of emotion from the way he moves, which is great.
I'd give the originality a four and a half stars. Mostly because I've never seen this done with cry before! For everything else: Impact, Vison, and technique I'll give it a four out of 5, because, well, nothing can be perfect. There's always room for improvement! ^^ Overall, I think You did a hilariously good job on this piece, and I'm looking forward to seeing more!
