Thank you but honestly photomanip isn't as difficult as most people think it is, you only have to cut out a horse and make some colour and lighting changes

Ugh, I dare to disagree! It does need certain level of skills and knowledge how to mix the photos so it’d look logical, and even choosing the right ones can be tricky. During one of my school project I had an opportunity to try it out. It ended as a huge failure; I spent hours messing around on Photoshop…for nothing. In the end I just drew everything by hand and got what I needed Yeah, it probably depends on how difficult your task is, but still, I find it rather complicated!

I learn 12-15 years old to manipulate (with a lesson made in word) and when they practise a bit they learn it fairly quick. Making a manip really isn't that hard, when you give me a manip I'll pimp it in 20 minutes When you understand the adjustmentlayers and be a bit creative then it'll be fine Ofcourse when you want to be really good in something you will have to practise, that's with everything and also with manipping, when you look at my first manip it was really nothing, but by practising I learnd how to use those effects in Ps and I learned myself a few tricks, you'll learn that easier if someone's sitting next to you and tells you what to do, I have learned a lot from trail and error.

Btw, I always start with a sketch before I start with looking after stock photo's, and I have a certain colour scheme in mind, when you look at manipping like this it's just an easy way of drawing, because you don't have to draw the horse and bg yourself

Oh wow, you've been doing it for quite awhile then And what, only 20 minutes? That's incredibly fast. I'd only manage to make a lousy looking sketch, nothing more. You really are good in what you do!
True that, anything good needs a lot of practice ect

That's an interesting point of view there, never thought of it that way. To me it's a bit odd and confusing concept. Obviously mixing up different photos isn't my thing, but it's still nice to look others art!

2 years, it isn't that long! I have been learning to draw since I was 6 I think, and I'm still a disaster xD that's why I think photomanip is easier, when I look at others I see the same, it takes much more time to become better in drawing then it takes to become better in photomanipping.

And yeah I guess it's just because you aren't very familiar with it I make my digital drawings the same way as I do my photomanips, I start with a sketch, then I draw the horse and background and then I do the lighting adjustments and the colours etc

Phew, maybe if I developped my own style, because now I'm still experimenting a lot, by example, I drew the horse in grayscale and then recoulored it, and sometimes I immadiately draw in colour, I don't really know what fits best for me Its a lot of trail and error!

Thanks! and yeah I don't know they wouldn't go with the pose of the horse, I tried wings in all kind of angles but it just wouldn't fit so I just started a new drawing for her reff and now I started with a sketch WITH wings, I have learned my lesson

XD yeahh allmy characters are......idk i just could never put anything like wings on them. Wings are suposed to be majestic and symbolize power, My characters are to represent the freaks....because freaks are tossed aside and hated...so they have to try double hard to get respect i just like the idea of being hated.....being hated makes you emotionaly strong..if you can get through the whole deal. so when it's ovr your better than them..because of what was suposed to ruin you it scares people XD
