Description

As the hunting and gathering parties return from their quest beyond the border, Stonehaven begins to feel the outer bands of their infamous winter storms. One by one, the mountain wolves trickle into Sanctum, but there is one to whom the Vajda cannot grant sanctuary: Grimm.

Since his demotion in the spring, the former Acolyte has taken to the fringes of society, becoming more shadow than wolf. After seeking the insights of three of her most trusted primes, the Vajda and her chosen council come to the conclusion that if Grimm has not yet made an effort to atone for his sins, he likely never will.

Exile is to be his fate, and together with her Primes, the Vajda dismisses him from the territory and condemns him to wander the windswept wilderness.

It was a bittersweet ending to his life in a pack which his opinion of had soured over the past few months. For as much as he had believed in their cause once, he deemed it below him to roll over and flash his belly when his heart wasn't in it. He supposed he ought to congratulate the Vajda for seeing that and react accordingly, but that was as much good will he was willing to give the mountain pack as he disappeared into the storm.
