The meanest dog you'll ever meet

He ain't the hound dog in the street

He bares some teeth and tears some skin

But brother, that's the worst of him

The dog you really got to dread

Is the one that howls inside your head

It's him whose howling drives men mad

And a mind to its undoing

Over the course of the winter, Grimm had (mostly) stayed within the confines of his secluded den near Elysia.
The illness that was ravaging through his body had taken its toll on him, but he was getting better,
slowly but surely, thanks to the Herbalists of Tündes. Especially Logan, who had made it her mission to heal him.

However, the war had merely changed its battle ground.
From body to mind, Grimm found himself fumbling with the traumas of his past.
The constant stress of expecting death on his door every day.
Of seeing Jack's ghost after keeping the late wolf's last words to himself.

And so, as his strength slowly returned,
the hound found himself using it up battling demons instead.

You got a lonesome road to walk

And it ain't along the railroad track

And it ain't along the black-top tar

You've walked a hundred times before

I'll tell you where the real road lies:

Between your ears, behind your eyes

That is the path to Paradise

Likewise, the road to ruin

Wait for me

EXCUSE ME WHILE I OBSESS OVER YET ANOTHER MUSICAL. Last week it was Heathers, this week it was Hadestown. What's it gonna be next? Who knows!
Either way, I wanted to make a little update on Grimm since he has been kiinda sorta sitting on the back-burner lately, and I'm working on pushing him over the ledge of this current illness-arch
so we can move on to bigger and better things.
