Edit:I actually "re-scanned" the whole image some time ago and adjusted the colours again, so that it looks brighter... and closer to the original.

I got the OK to upload this image and I take the opportunity to do so. ^___^ Well, and to make my gallery look less empty too. Some of you might already know this picture; if not, then you do now. ^_~
I drew this for the marker tutorial for the ImagineFX magazine , issue 37 to be precise (December '08).
The tutorial is also featured in the special edition "ImagineFX presents Manga".
You also should view the image with that in mind, because I tried to include different techniques which, in the end, affected the whole motif and design.
Well, there's not much else to say about it. While I was working on it, I thought of a little story and backgroundstory, though I haven't really worked on it.
Due to the massive size I was kind of forced to upload the smaller version. X3~
I haven't changed anything; it's the same version you can see in the magazine and on the DVD.

aw damn i was hoping there was a white marker ;-; I always get into the colouring too much and my 'highlights' get coloured over and thanks ill try the opaque white Β

Markers are translucent, so a white marker isn't really possible.

yeah ;-; what a shame... for the moment i have resorted to using white out (liquid) as a highlight as it seems to work a bit, but i guess ill just have to colour more patiently in future
