Personality & Background:
Majestad Del Mar, or Maggie, was born in New Mexicolt. Her parents came to Equestria from Mexicolt before she was born. She loved baking with her mother and watching telenovelas and soap operas on TV. Maggie loved how dramatic and elaborate the shows were, and she dreamed of one day becoming apart of one. Saying farewell to her parents, she followed her dream to Canterlot, with a scholarship to Canterlot University. To pay for the rest of her tuition that the scholarship didn't cover, she applied to many different jobs, but managed to land one at Donut Joe's Café and Bakery. She quickly befriended the owner's daughter, Strawberry Strudel. The two loved to share gossip while baking, and begun hanging out even outside of work. One day while out in the streets of Canterlot, Maggie saw a dragon who looked somehow sacred and curious, all at the same time. She had never seen a dragon before, but she wasn't afraid. Instead, she trotted over to him and introduced herself, and asked if he needed some help. The dragon introduced himself as Rezatone , who told her that he was new in town. She gladly showed him around, and even gave him a tour of the Canterlot Theater. He seemed to very excited about this, and Maggie told him that he could enroll for the upcoming semester and major in theater, like she was doing. He expressed his concerns to her, such as it would be a long flight from the Dragonlands to Canterlot everyday, so Maggie offered that he stay with her in her apartment. The two became roommates, but also great friends. As Maggie continued her schooling and her job at the café, she also auditions for many roles such as starring in commercials or acting as a background character in short films. She got her big break when she auditioned for the upcoming telenovela, Un Amor Dificil, and was casted as the female lead. She worked closely alongside her co-star and on screen love interest, Señor Fernando Alejandro Delgato Goyri. As they continued to work together, Maggie began to wonder how much of the romance she performed with him was really just acting..

Maggie is very friendly, and can have a conversation about just about anything with just about anyone. She's very outgoing and optimistic, and loves to gossip. She's also very bad at keeping secrets!

Maggie is grateful that her parents allowed her to follow her dream, even if it was far away from them. She often visits them for Hearth's Warming. Maggie's best friend is Strawberry Strudel. The two love spending time together both at work and outside of it. Strawberry is very supportive of Maggie's dream. In fact, Strawberry almost matched Maggie's excitement when she told her that she had gotten a lead role on a telenovela. Maggie is also very fond of Strawberry's parents, Pinkie Pie and Donut Joe, and finds them to be like parental substitutes to her real ones down in New Mexicolt. Maggie feels like Strawberry's older sister Neon Fritz doesn't really like her, but this doesn't stop her from trying to get her to change her mind! Neon sometimes accompanies Maggie and Strawberry on their outings. Strawberry's older brother Ace of Diamonds doesn't say more to her than an occasional greeting. Maggie also interacts with the cafe's part time dish washer, Arson , but she finds him to be very rude, so she only talks to him if she must. Maggie is also very close with her roommate Rezatone, and often finds herself staying up late to talk to him about his feelings. She also loves to show him around town and educate him on pony life, and the two sometimes go on small road trips to neighboring cities. Maggie spends a lot of time with her co-star Señor Delgato, and she may or may not be developing a tiny itty bitty crush on him.
