A few questions, though...I know I need to look into this Kaiju Academy to know more, but about Nami herself:
1) Is Nami Human-sized or G-sized? Either way, her breasts could be called a safety hazard!
2) Was she born Human and got experimented on or something? Crazy scientists...
3) Could she be a future MATE to Godzilla?? ^_^
If you can't answer, I hope someone who knows can...great work, and truly different!

Sorry for the late response...
1) The k-girls are usually treated as being human-scale, though there are a few pics showing them as daikaiju-scale.
2) She was born a kaiju girl. Who her parents are and how she was born is a mystery. However, she does have a daughter of her own: Minami (based on Minilla), who she dotes on.
3) You'd have to ask her creator, ~Roequ . But I doubt it.

I think I was referring more to the fact that an anthropomorph generally looks primarily animal with humanistic expressions. TOO many human features and it's no longer quite so anthropomorphic but the antithesis -- a human with animal qualities. That's why many don't care to see Neko under the anthro category -- it's more of a human with cat ears than an animal that acts human. Even many furries (like mine, whose bodies are human rather than upright animals,) are technically more therian/zoomorphic than traditional anthro, which would be something like Lion King.

In general, that compound does mean what its components add up to. When used as part of furry fan jargon, though, it seems to be turning into the opposite.

The dictionary definition would probably best describe something like Lion King or Narnia, where walking, four legged normal animals are given human thoughts and voices. A lot of furries (called ferals) fit that description. But then some of us make ours walk upright, and more still give our characters human shaped bodies under their fur, and it all gets confusing from there
