I really want to remake my Mosaic browser Pony for it to look more original, but I'm stuck. I've got a Mosaic icon that I have no idea what to do with. xP

...saw an old Mosaic-screenshot on Wikipedia... the symbol on that one was globe in front of a S-shaped deep blue line with a small bubble at the end...maybe the pony should have that mane-colour and two long pigtails with shiny pearls at the end...

I like this one 
From what i can tell from this picture: internet explorer seems to be a joker, always the one with a smile. A bit clumsy, but she/he? will get the job done... eventually. also has deep seated insecurities about her/himself, always trying to compare to the others and always feeling that she/he is not good enough.
Opera pony is the fancy type, has a good memory, and is pretty reliable. Always ready to help a friend, if a little dramatic in doing so. A little uptight at times, but seems to let loose around friends.
safari pony is the one that always tries to keep the rest of the group safe, always asking if it is a good idea. has a great sense of direction and likes a challenge. Really ocd about things, and loves music.
Chrome pony thinks she's better than the rest, but that's just her ego. she has big dreams, and always tries to make herself seem better. She seems to have no fears, but that's just an act, as she makes herself seem stronger to keep the rest of the group feel safer.
Finally, firefox pony is the one that hold them together. She's a little strange sure, and she likes to but heads with chrome pony a lot, but she has a clear mind, and loves her friends. she doesn't mind if they joke about her occasionally, but she does have a bit of a temper to attend to.
