Many people are expecting Barriss to be an Inquisitor, but I think she would've gone into hiding in order to escape both Jedi and Sith

She did go to the Dark side so I would doubt she would be hiding.

but thing is, just because one goes to the dark, doesn't necessarily mean that person become's completely evil. She became a a grey jedi, and she continued to view herself as a jedi even after been caughti. She became like Asajj, who's someone that uses the dark side for combat and stuff, but never succumbed to it completely.
Barriss in the expanded universe was someone that didn't believe that the force was either good or evil, she had a more neutral view to it.
If she does appear to become an Inqui, or something else like it, I believe it would had been brainwashed by the Emperor to control her, something like the Winter Soldier I'll say.
