Description This image comes from much earlier in the build, so the nacelles will look a little different.
The comparison is against Aad Moerman's low polygon Intrepid used for Armada 2. It's a bit unfair due to the massive quality difference (but he does make excellent use of the few polygons he has available to him) but it should serve.
As can be seen, the general hull dimensions are more or less identical. The differences are:
- The sovereign-esque "collar" which blends the forward end of the engineering hull to the saucer
- The slight extending of where the cutout ends in the lower aft hull
- The extending of the upper aft of the shuttlebay and the use of the clamshell doors
- The "neck" which goes from the bridge module and blends into the main spine.
Because it is a higher polygon mesh there is also better definition of where "deck 2" meets the saucer, but the dimensions are all the same.
When you add in the longer nacelles and use them to obscure parts of the spine it gives the impression of a much sleeker design with what are actually rather minor structural changes to the hull. All in all, it's easier to believe than the Constitution Refit (my favourite design I hasten to add, that is in no way a bash).

Very interesting, the sleeker engineering hull on the III makes a huge difference!
