or: The Pipe Dreams of a Lesser HeroWho do you think shall win? Will his sleeper hold work on ol' Bats, or will he break his arm free and jam his batarang straight into Nite Owl's face?
I've been playing both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Watchmen: the End is Night recently, and the image of Batman and Nite Owl II duking it out has been flitting through my mind for quite some time!

I think the battle depends on when it occurs. Nite Owl II was equal to Batman when he started crime fighting, but he slowly became the overweight ex-superhero that he is at the beginning of Watchmen. My money is on good ole' Bats, but who knows Nite Owl might just dazzle us all. The key word is might.

everyone says batman will win,and their right,batman kicks his and maybe rorscharchs ass because they copied off of batman,and this is arkhamverse so they win by a longshot,but rorscarch and owlman can kill other batmen.....i wonder about jason todd against nite owl...JASON WINS,jason against rorscarch...i think rorscarch might win that one,but here batman wins

actually batman wins,he has a technological difference,a mental difference,is a better fighter....basically in everything,so...........

Batman has the greater odds of winning since, well, he has very great strategies in street fighting.
Nite Owl II might win if he uses some of his technological advantages (i.e. Archie), and he does have some good fighting expertise. But Batman wins for sure if Owl doesn't use some of his technology gimmicks.

I'm very much in the same boat. Nite Owl is my main man, my "home dawg" if you will, but Batman is just too darn awesome to go down by his hand.

actually thats opinion,i hate that batman,the 1 i mostly haate is adam west,not saying those batmen arent good,but they are just not for me,i like arkhamverse batman better,and owlman is like an insult compared to batman,especially since he is lonely,more worried about sex than saving lives,etc.,he's kinda low

I feel like how they're portraying Batman now is like what they're doing to Wolverine; Wolverine is the ultimate plaything for our sadistic nature, and the writers now delight in finding new ways to torture him rather than focusing on creating new and interesting stories. Writers now have done the same for Batman, only with mental torture rather than physical. They're asking themselves "What can we throw at Bruce to torture his psyche more-so than it already is. It's not enough that the old writers just hinted at it in the past - we want to crack open his skull and poke and prod his instability with hooks and picks."
I enjoyed the 70's through the beginning because that's when they focused on telling mystery stories that only Batman with his great intellect and immense number of gadgets could solve, and they gave him more villains than just the Joker.
I'll admit I was talking about the movie-version of Nite Owl rather than the comic version (I saw the movie first) and it's true the version in the comic was interested only in sex, but that's why I like the movie version better because Nite Owl was there when Rorschach died and grieved for him.
But Nite Owl - for me - in the movie was a much more compelling character than the Batman that is being presented now; every one is clamoring after a 'more realistic' superhero, and you don't get much more realistic than a man who has gone to seed and become unable to get an erection, yet is able in the end to regain what he had in his youth.
Though I also have to admit that both the movie and the comic's premise started to slip at the exact same point.

Okay i must say (to my dislike) Batman would Nite Owl beat. BUuuuuutttt ... Rorschach would appear and revenge his partner. Where is Rorschach by this? (If he fight in this moment with Robin... pooor Kid.)

The fight between would be the saddest thing of the world, because we all know Robin would lose to him... Why do i see both suddendly in a gymnastturnier against each other? Ad why do i imaginate that Robin COULD win... i get to depth in this fandom.
