Hmm, that's a good question. For a number of reasons actually. First and foremost i had a blast doing it. I'm a creative person and there's nothing more intrinsically demanding of a creative brain than becoming another human being. Another aspect which makes it very fun, it may sound cliche but becoming someone your not is great fun. As humans we partake in our fair share of escapism, and frankly, there is none as potent or as freeing as acting. Along with that, being able to know you performed in front of people and entertained them and let them a experience a world you helped create is a cool feeling. But in the end, and most importantly, it's just an exhilarating, fun rush!!!

All great and pretty much the same reasons...But I have to admit the thought of being someone other than myself would be fantastic. Not only that but as you know many people have play each role so what I find the most fun is understanding the character getting inside their head because once I do that its so much easier to become them. I love when I come across a three demential character its so hard to find them in school plays but alas there is nothing I can do. And that my friend is why I read books.
