I'm not sure WHAT Mugly is, but it's apparently time for him to dine.As stoked as I am about this game, I can't help but wonder just how far removed from the original series DKCR is going to be. Probably nothing like SMB2 was in the SMB series, but still pretty far out there.
...or maybe not.
Wouldn't THAT be a real kicker?

I loved this game. Pretty beautiful and fun, only I though it was quite easy. Though I mean, I'm not 6-7 years old compared to DKC1, so I guessed that's why.

Mugly looks on your picture quit better than in the original game. In the game it looks like a pokemon mixed with a spiny from Super Mario, but in your picture he/she looks like a dinosaur.

After all, K Rool often fell behind in themes.

True; with all the other old-fashioned HQs K. Rool's had, disguising as a tiki (perhaps inside some old temple) wouldn't be at all surprising.

Hmmm. This game is becoming sort of a mixed-bag for me....
On the one hand, we have lots of real DKC elements, two players can play simultaneously, and all of the music is remixed (I think).
But on the other hand we've got no underwater levels, and no Kremlings.
I just remind myself that we still don't know that much else about the game.
I dunno, maybe we will get K.Rool and the kremlings. Maybe Retro has something up their sleeves....

I actually don't mind the tikis replacing the Kremlings, to me the tikis look just as cool as them. But I hope there are going to be different types of Tikis in the game with each one doing its own special thing like the Kremlings.
Who knows, maybe King K. Rool will be in the game dressed as the tiki master or something.

The yellow guy's name is named Mugly, and appears to be one of the tiki bosses in DKCR. As for the actual species of this creature: I don't think anybody knows that yet.

And we can start worrying about changes going too far when the game is released and it turns out to be about DK and Diddy running over Tiki monsters while driving a scrap-compiled buggy they made by themselves at Cranky's Cabin!

I have seen all the trailers, game play and official vode, and mobility, as well as the style is exactly like jungle beat, and rarely am wrong in terms of predictions about a game before its release

if the game is a good like Donkey Kong Country, I tell you you were right and makes a great reference to the game DKCR pic, but if the game sucks just like a "jungle beat" but without bongos, you'll say simply that I was right
but if game is not like DKC or jungle beat the deal is canceled

I'm not saying anyone's right or wrong, I'm saying you shouldn't bash the game just yet.
I've also seen screenshots and trailers, and even actual gameplay, and to me it's just like DKC with new things added to it. And that's good because it's something new and I'm willing to try new things. DKJB almost had nothing to do with DKC. At least in DKCR Donkey Kong can simply jump on the enemies to defeat them unlike in DKJB where he slaps the crap out of them.

one of the things I liked the DKC was that they were all based on real animals (crocodiles, wasps, monkeys, apes, dragonflies, etc), played very natural, you know, kick, jump,. swimming and running, with their traditional buttons, not to mention the super cool Dave Wise's work in the background music, and the European humorous style (personally I like the European humor), the fact of holding and throwing things at enemies , And the truth, hatred seems chipance diddy and dixie glue seems diddy-eyed amy rose, I prefer the old design, when diddy and dixie seemed monkeys and chimpanzees, but it never came back, is as What happened to the game "urchid" (well that I think)

The Wiimote makes a formidable "classic controller" when held horizontally. And luckily, DKCR will have an option that allows exactly that.
But yeah, that was one of my concerns as well. I'm going to want to go old-school with this game.

My impression of DKCR is that it does a good job capturing the essence of DKC even with that tiki theme going on.
But either way, having a development team that cares about the series alone's a mark of a good game to me.

and for me the Kremlings. I must say, the Tikis are ok, but nothing special, because we see such kind of enemies in nearly each nintendo franchise. You know, such simply looking fantasy things. the kremlings are the only, really cartoony animal enemies of nintendo.

I like the Kremlings much more. The Tiksi are ok, but replacing the kremlings for good is not an good idea.
And.. I alwas like dthe villains more. Bowser I like more than Mario, King K. Rool I like more than DK, King Dedede I like more than kirby.
