Comics are hard... I find I never give my all in any given panel so the whole thing comes out mediocre.

No, don't despair! Comics ARE hard, but you pulled off some great stuff in each one, even if it wasn't one hundred percent concentrated perfection! Plus you were ambitious enough to color and SHADE (goodness, over-achiever!) so it gets extra awesome points. Coby's extremely panicked faces are SO stylistically spot on, and the layout rocks out loud! Really nice work and very sweet tribute to those adorkable cuties!

I think the top-left panel is my favorite. I love how the marines are just digging in with their hands, lookin' like little kids, and how Helmeppo is apparently turning 2. I'm far more amused than I should be, probably.

It didn't look enough like a birthday cake without candles, so I randomly added some at the last moment... Apparently, Helmeppo is turning 2. Or Coby just couldn't find enough candles.
