Description
Decide everything with one shot, fired from a distance, and never show your face to anyone. That is what those called snipers do.The quote is from the manga Yami no Aegis, and when I read it, I thought of Usopp, King of Snipers.
I have no idea how to draw a gun and know even less about how one holds a gun, so Usopp's hands look extremely awkward. Other than that, I had a lot of fun with this.

I like the drawign. Yeah the hands do look akward. I've been watching the show "Top Shot" on History channel [link] and from what I've seen I'd sayt he opposite hand from the side aming on (this be the arm with the armband) would be flat with palm up to help stablize the gun.
I like the saying. I've argued with a few fans that don't realize what Snipers really are like.
So far in One Piece, only Usopp's been called a sniper but many fans think any good marksman who can hit a target at a distance is a sniper. I've tried to tell them about real snipers (military and police forces) are more along the lines of stealth, not always in the front lines. A real sniper is a "one shot, one kill", not a barrage of firing. But they don't get it. They think the "one shot, one kill" means that they ony need one shot. ITs not that, what it means is to be sure of the shot, if you don't think a shot will kill, don't take it. Be paitent, don't reveal yourself, hide and wait for the target to get into a "sure kill" position.
Some think this means cowardice since they are not face to face. Not true, esp if its a one (or two) man mission infiltrating enemy territory to get to a target.

And, yeah, as soon as I read this quote in Yami no Aegis, I thought it was a perfect description of a sniper. And, really, Usopp's more the type to strike from a distance, but that doesn't make him a coward! (Even though he is... >.< Shhh, don't tell him I said that! XP)
