I love the way the brightest part of the light is behind the hand. Great positioning of the hand, as well. It all works together to create a moving piece

Lord of the Rings FTW
I gotta say, the lighting here is absolutely fantastic. The single point and the color... Really, this one image could tell a lot of stories.
I have to ask, how did you get the lighting like that?

It's the tungsten light from my room, with a cloudy WB adjustment in-camera. Then I put the ring in a way it blocks the lamp showing just the light, with a -2 EV to leave the image darker

Great piece! makes you wonder the story behind it. I like the dramatic light and how it draws your eyes. I'd of liked the ring to maybe of been center of the light for balance, though I'm torn because the fact that it's not makes it feel more spontaneous
