I'm not sure what the concept here is, but the image with the quote can provoke various thoughts. The idea of being somewhat lost in thought is backed well by the photonoise, as well.

i like it. I feel like I'm a little confused but I am not a conceptual photographer. It does draw me in the quote me think about the piece more closely. Compositionally , its beautiful. Is the slight blur intentional, because I feel like if it is the close up ruler/tape measure could be really really sharp. But what do I know. Its wonderful.

I use a compact camera, so its focus is fixed at one point in close-up shots.

That's what I saw in the thumbnail, as well. The detail at that small size did not let me realize the "space between her legs" was actually a tape, and not the floor beyond her.

very interesting perspective! this piece speaks many different things to me; usually i see tape measures in photography dealing with weight loss, and that was my first reaction, but honestly i just think this is an aesthetically beautiful piece to look at. i'm not sure of the full concept behind it, but i do appreciate it.
