If that was in the US, someone would be bitching about the noise it produces.
(For anyone who doesn't get what I'm on about: Noise complaints are one of the things that keep wind farms from getting made in the US. My town actually has one and it can't be heard RIGHT BENEATH the thing for the road traffic. Its really a moot point.)

Americans would rather put up with that soulless trash they play on the radio in every restaurant and store than hear a windmill whirring once in a while. Unsurprising.

That's an extremely broad assumption but I do agree that the music is, most often, downright awful.
I'd love to hear a windmill.

It is one of the complaints people bring up when whoever talks about installing one. Its stupid. I was in Germany parked next to a field of dill with a half dozen windmills in it and I could barely hear them above the herbs. At least they also bitch about fracking, but oil companies have a lot more pull than windmill companies.

Now would you believe it. I actually come from Denmark (not exactly Samsø) but I have been to Ærø. I think you really caught the typical summery grey sky we have here and the darkish green grass that makes me feel so at home :3

You can probably tell, but I'm very inspired by Scandinavia. I think it's so beautiful and mysterious and I hope I'm able to visit there someday.

Well that's my guess at what aero means. Æ sounds a but like a and e put together, and if I were an englishman putting names on Danish islands with funny letters.
That's very intersting. But if you were to take my advice, don't come to Denmark expecting the same astonishing landscapes as they have in Norway or Sweden. Don't get me wrong, Denmark does have it's charm. But the rest of Scandinavia is outright beautiful.
